Is it really November? I know the calendar says it but I'm not buying it. I love summer so I can't say that I just hate the extended one we are getting but we really do need some rain!

We haven't had any measurable rain since early August and even those were very short showers. It definitely doesn't feel like early fall. A/C is still running everyday. Our calves had a "halloween party" and tore down the entire back fence in their pasture and tore into 5 or 6 bales of hay (we have no extra this year) and we were putting on the fence on Nov 1 in the morning wearing shorts and still sweating!

Wow,that is unreal. Crazy weather. Sorry about the calves and the hay. I hope you have enough for the winter.

Same here. It's november...and I am in a t-shirt....and not cold.
I can remember wearing my winter coat while trick or treating as a kid.
But ----sure am ENJOYING this weather....keeping sunroom door open longer.
Is this how folks from the south feel all the time ?
I am beginning to understand snowbirds.

I'm sorry you aren't getting the rain you need. Praying it comes soon.
