Our church is doing a chili cook-off this coming Sunday afternoon.
No one in our family likes chili - thus we don't make chilli.
But I was thinking - how about a dessert chili? I did find a recipe online but its got a lot of ingredients that I don't currently have and looks like it takes a decent amount of time to make.
Does anyone know of a dessert chili recipe that is fairly simple??

No,I never heard of dessert chili,but it sounds like a really good idea.....Check Pinterest. Or modify the recipe you found to fit what you have on hand.

Oh,I was just thinking there are other types of chili,like white bean chili with chicken that maybe your family would like.

I thought about that. Its the beans that my family doesn't like. I'm fine with them - but no one else is.

I got the supplies to make the recipe I found, but didn't end up making it. Actually, we didn't end up staying for the chili feed - since my family doesn't like chili and we had a kid melting down and it had been a busy week beforehand.... I'm still going to try it out at home and maybe I'll use it next time.  |
