They had thought this chemo was working, but his numbers are bad again. He has to go back to get another dose of chemo on Thursday which will be really strong and hard on him physically. There are a couple experimental type drugs they can try, but not sure. Of course, I can't go because I have to work. Please pray for my parents. This is hard on both of them and I feel terrible that I can't be more available to help them. Thanks!

oh Bronte .... I've btdt. It's hard. Keeping you all in thought & prayer. One day all this "humanness" is going to pass away & we'll be of the kingdom that knows no end.
I hope chemo went ok for your dad today. Praying for endurance for your mom, too.

Sorry for your situation. It was very hard emotionally for me when my dad was ill....and since he had dementia....he started repeating himself when I was in highschool....and passed 30 yrs later.....but his last few yrs were in a nursing home, and his health was a steady decline for a few yrs....very rough experience. I found a hobby...something to keep my hands busy and my mind off of all the little details....that was therapeutic at the time

It's also something I can do if I do go with them to appointments, etc. If I read, my mom feels like I am ignoring her, so knitting is something I can do and still chat with her too.
