anyone working on crafts? other projects?
I made time to sew over christmas....made a few quilted table runners, and a lined stocking.
Plus several little skirts for a 5 yr old.
Now i am working on another quilt.

I keep looking at my bag of embroidery projects. Normally I enjoy doing these over the winter months, but I haven't found the time yet. My sewing machine is in the shop. Going to call about it today. My sister & I want to make pillow case dresses for her little girl.
My teen (17) has taken up crochet. She made me a fabulous scarf and some gifts for friends. She's really good for just learning.

I made a small "lovie" size baby blanket and hat for a coworker the other week. I've been looking at other stuff but haven't nailed down any projects yet.

I've taken up crochet and have been doing lots of that (which is the main reason I haven't been in here as much!)
I want to sew some huge floor cushions for our playroom.

Fun thread!  I made 3 felt tree ornaments for Christmas gifts. Right now I'm working on handmade Christmas cards and paper buntings. Over the weekend dd and I made winter arrangements and did some crafting with pinecones, holly and berries, moss etc. |

I started to crochet an afghan last week. It's going to be huge...queen size. It's a ripple afghan with 17 different colors in it. So a huge undertaking for me, but I'm really enjoying it.
Other than that, I've been working on some donation items for a pregnancy center in our area...baby hats, blankets, burp cloths, etc. Oh, and I need to finish up a sweater I'm knitting for our dog. It's all finished except for the ribbing around the legs. It should take me all of 20 minutes to complete, but I have been putting it off for weeks. LOL!

I'm so not a crafty person but made an easy centerpiece this week. Mason jars, Epsom salt, twine and evergreen branches. Turned out well.

I'd like to make a few more for friends and my mom. I'd like to try making blessings jars too. One for for my oldest dd and one for me. |
