I hope you all have a great day with your family!!
This year is definitely not what I was expecting it to be, but we will roll with it! 8 year old is sick with who knows what. Seemed flu-ish, then he started throwing up. Not really sure what is going on. Got the essential oils going, and he seems to be on the mend. Husband has to work nights all week, so we'll have our Christmas morning with him tomorrow before he heads to bed for the day. The boys are super excited for presents in the morning.
Missing my family this year. Moreso even than last year. Last Christmas was a blur as we had just lost my dad, but this year it is all so clear and knowing I can't be with my sister and mom makes it tough. We'll see my mom next week though. Looking forward to that.

I remember years when my dad worked nights over Christmas. We did presents when he got home before he went to bed. Good memories of my childhood strangely enough. Sorry your DS is sick - praying he recovers quickly! Praying for you and your family as you deal with memories and not being able to be with each other. (((BIGHUG))))

Big hugs and prayers for your day to be wonderful even though your dh is working tonight and you are missing family. Hope your ds is feeling better this morning. I have a sickie at my house too, but everyone's still sleeping so I'm not sure if she's doing any better today or not. (((((Merry Christmas))))))
