DD turns 4 today! 
But where did the last four years go? She has grown so fast! 
She loves animals (ok, like her mom!) - but really loves reptiles and amphibians and butterflies (expanding now to different kinds of bugs too! She just came and told me "Mommy, I love my lizard. Its really cute." - its a dollar store toy lizard she got for her birthday.
She dresses up her "Lamby" sometimes, which she carries around faithfully - but rarely touches her few dolls. She knows very little princessy stuff though on occasion she might talk about a character in a picture being a "princess". She loves pink and purple. She loves the PBS show "Wild Kratts" and can recite some pretty in-depth wildlife facts - and play them out with her toy animals. She likes to care for her animals - real or toy. She's so similar to her brother in some ways - and so different in others.
I'm just glad she's into animals instead of prinesses - animals I know what to do with but princesses...I would be lost!
