I did weights today. I truly don't think I'm ready for the program I'm using. My dh claims the only thing he has seen help me lose weight is p90x which I'm definitely not ready for so I was trying this other program and I guess I've just gotten too weak to even do it. It my legs, I just don't have the muscle in them that I should. So I'm trying to decide if I keep going and just don't do as many reps as they say or try something else. I could do fitness blender low impact program I have but I don't know.

Hills work and strengthen muscles that just don't get worked on flat ground - at leas that's my unscientific theory (based on what hurts when I've done different things LOL!) But not everywhere has hills to walk of course...

I haven't done anything today so I've got to get to work. I'm walking a lot and that is helping (because right now walking is about all I can handle - pretty scary how fat and out of shape I am I'm about 30 lbs up from this time last year and that weight wasn't even a good weight).

When we climb the towers in summer, man I feel that. I think one of my goals is to be in better shape for this summer so the towers dont kick my butt, lol.

30 miles on the exercise bike (27 fast, 3 cool down) and some 3 lb arm weights.
And, after all the food I had during the superbowl, and all that leftover food in the house on monday ----i probably should have doubled my exercise. total 75 miles in feb so far

I can walk on our roads - but the shoulders are narrow and the cars fast so I wouldn't do it with kids in tow. I could drive to the park (which is flat though...) I did discover that I could make a "loop" in my own yard which has a big hill - works great but its muddy right now. Part of my homemade indoor workout has involved borrowing my kids' bathroom stool and using it to do step-ups. Its good and stable and also not too high - it works really well for me. Any stairs in your house or workable stools you could use?

Stairs yes, but I get bored with them easily, lol. Plus sometimes my little ones will try to join me on the stairs and then they get crowded. I should find a good stool.
