This board looked sad with no threads in it, lol. My middle child is four years old. Who else has kids in this stage?

Do you have the talk-your-ear-off variety? That's what I have. Sometimes she talks about her plans for what to talk about next, lol.

Sometimes she is like that. My 6 1/2 yo DS is more the talker sometimes though. DD has a crazy imagination though and she takes her imaginary scenarios very seriously (and gets upset if I don't play along.) I watched her the other day playing out a whole story with her toy horses on her bed - she didn't know I was watching. It was really cute! So if she's not talking to me, then she's making up imaginary stories and playing them out.

DD will be 4 in March. Yes, she talks without ceasing. And has a huge attitude problem that we are working on. She's just like her father...who can also be hard to handle. I'm exhausted. Doesn't help that 3 and 4 are my least favorite ages (worked daycare for a long time and avoided the preschool rooms like the plague). So it's a struggle for me anyway then you add in the attitude issue... DH is taking her somewhere else for the day Saturday because I just plain need a break from it. Been a rough couple weeks with her (so much yelling and crying) then you add in getting two cats spayed, a non-stress test and u/s for me to check the baby, a possible UTI (also me), weird pregnancy pains in general...Oh and the cats, NST, and possible UTI diagnosis were all yesterday, in awful weather, with more than 3 hours in the car. Oh, and DD also has a bit of a cold so she finally took a nap yesterday and I had to wake her up to go to my appt. Saturday cannot come quickly enough. (and apparently, I needed to vent. Sorry about that.)

Awww, I have to chime in. I have a 4 year old for a few more days! 4 has been a wonderful year for Isaac ... he is fun to be around and funny, too. Despite some special needs, he is doing so well! I'm sorry to see 4 go, but am hoping that 5 is as delightful as 4 was.
