He asked when I said I haven't been exercising .
I went today. I am cold, but it felt good. I am going to make it TOP priority every day! I have to ( weight wise, health wise).
I have had about 3 or 4 weeks of chest discomfort and it goes down my left arm into my fingers BUT no sweating, nausea or shortness of breath, so I figured I was ok. I finally made an appointment and went today. My EKG was normal, my BP was a little high on the diastolic 120/90. And he wants to do a Stress/ ECHOcardiogram next month.
Wondering if this could be related to my rib/shoulderblade pain from December that caused weird shingles-type pain ( opposite side though) Chiropractor said that 1 rib was not articulated with vertebrae. That might set all the ribs, cartilage, sternum, vertebrae off. I had costochondritis about 20 years ago that gave me chest pain and left arm pain, because the nerves that were affected by the inflammation directly feed the heart. Hoping that is what it is.
So…..
Yesterday 1/27 ~10 minutes Today 1/28~ 16 minutes
Keep me accountable!!!!!

Exercising is WAY to easy to put off to another day I think... I've been trying to make it a priority in the last couple of weeks too. So far, I'm finding that if I am for every day, then most days it actually happens. For me, actually making it happen every day is not very realistic - things come up, life happens. But if I PLAN for every day, then when I do miss a day, I don't find that I have missed several days just because I put it off. (If that makes any sense! LOL!) So far this week I missed Monday and Tuesday (unexpected ended up working.) Wednesday, Thursday and today - got it done! Tomorrow - depends on when my parents come and how long they are hear in the afternoon (morning is out because I'm working). Sunday - planning on it! We can keep this up!

I'm going to try to get out for regular walks too! I've been a complete sloth the last few months. I got out for 2 or 3 walks last week and I went for one this morning. Going for a walk with my friend after dinner tonight too!

This is me! This winter it has been way to easy to stay in my nice warm cozy home. Yesterday I did 40 minutes outside. Felt good. Sunny, not freezing cold. Not sure about today. I have a DVD picked out - now to get to it!

Got out for a 20 minute walk this morning. Better than nothing, I guess lol. Our elderly neighbor was no longer using her eliptical and gave it to us today!!! I won't be able to use the inclement weather as an excuse not to get any exercise anymore! lol

I guess that's what happens when you try to talk to a state agency...government! I beat DH's call yesterday - he spent 20 minutes on hold with medicare only to have them say they couldn't give him the information (re: his dad's stuff) - stupid government stuff!. I guess at least I got my question answered. No treadmill. But I have come up with my own indoor exercise routine. I borrow the kids' bathroom stool to do step-ups. I borrow the kids' mini-trampoline that they got for Christmas and "run" on it. Then I've got some core exercises and stretches I do. All in all, it seems to work well - AND I am seeing results! Good job exercising today ladies!
