So, starting tomorrow, I'll start posting here on what I am eating and how much I'm exercising. I need some accountability!

I am with you.
I survived Christmas eating....even lost weight....then after christmas? leftovers.....Candy Hearts ! oh my......i need to get right back on track.
I have a new goal.......starting today till end of March.....i want to get 1000 miles on the exercise bike. 13.69 a day. I think eating right will naturally fall in line with the exercise. (i hope) did my 13.5 miles today....

(i hope) did my 13.5 miles today.... Good job! My dh and I will be setting up my Mom's exercise bike in our living room, as she does not ride it anymore . Her knee is so bad... DH and I both need to lose weight! I am hoping I will find less excuses to NOT exercise if it is sitting right there. Even walking ( "too cold, too windy, need to go to xyz, so I can't walk, no time to shower" blahblahblah…) But the menopausal weight is just piling on… Good luck Bronte and Lucy! I will be checking in. We can keep each other accountable!

So, how did everyone do today? I did pretty well. I had one of my smoothies for breakfast (kale, berries, almond butter, scoop of raw protein powder, scoop of tumeric blend, and almond milk), and I had a handful of corn chips this afternoon. I am fasting from lunch because our church is doing a solemn assembly on Sunday, but I got a little lightheaded so I thought I'd eat something really small. I did my yoga this morning and I took my supplements. I do need to drink more water today. I have trouble with that in the winter months sometimes. It is uber cold here today, so I will be walking on the treadmill rather than outside. The poor dog - he really hasn't had much walking lately because it's been bitterly cold here (and I LIKE cold weather!!!). I was typing with gloves on and I went and sat on the couch with a blanket because I could NOT stay warm in my office!

So far - so good.......rode on day 1, and again today - day 2.....even did a few extra miles to build in some cushion on my goal.
It's crazy how fast you loose your conditioning......in sept I had a 40 mile ride....then got sick...didn't work out for a while....and now i am starting back at 13 miles, 16 miles, etc. i definitely need to add in some lunges or side steps (as leslie sandsome calls them) for the outer thigh that doesn't really get worked while biking
