I felt rushed tonight especially and wanted to just go off plan, but I didn't! I just reminded myself I'd have to start over with all the yucky detox symptoms and that did the trick! Breakfast: 2 eggs/orange/grain-free muffin/coffee Lunch: salad with chicken/small baked potato Dinner: Broccoli soup/hamburger patty - no bun Snack: handful of dark chocolate chips - these are growing on me! I did not do yoga today as I had to be up fairly early for work, and I didn't walk the dog either - poor puppy! I'm hoping to get a walk in during lunch tomorrow so the dog doesn't go crazy! I did drink quite a bit of water today, and I got in my supplements. I have not lost any weight, but I am trying to focus on good habits rather than the scale. I really have been feeling pretty crappy, so feeling better IS a good incentive! How are you all doing on your eating plans?

I'm failing but learning. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do this 17 day diet but I'm learning my triggers and and somethings I need to be more mindful of.

I'm failing but learning. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do this 17 day diet but I'm learning my triggers and and somethings I need to be more mindful of. I've done fairly well even though my week got much busier when I suddenly had to sub 3 days when I wasn't expecting to sub any days! I find that if I make things ahead on the weekends to fall back on when I get busy or unexpected stuff comes up, it really helps me stay on track! The one thing I have eaten this week that I really wasn't supposed to was potatoes, but I'm focusing more on cutting out the grains from my diet. This is a 10 day detox, but I really plan on making it a lifestyle because I want to feel better. I still haven't really lost any weight yet, so that is disappointing. I'm also still feeling tired and dragging. I'm hoping in a few days, I'll start feeling better and that will motivate me to keep at it!

I was so good all through the holidays....only having a cookie, or a bite of dh's pie....and then, after christmas, i turned into a leftover eating machine.
I need to get back with some program. I lost weight in 2014, and 2015....and i need 2016 to be a 20 lb weight loss year.
