i know for breakfast we are having: sausage links cinnamon rolls orange Julius
supper new England clam chowder
I'm thinking lunch will be leftovers as I'm planning( hopefully) to do a "thanksgiving" dinner on Christmas Eve.

I was just trying to decide that very thing last night. We have a single guy from church coming to spend the day with us. We have my mom and dh's parents coming for breakfast and my dad and stepmom coming for supper.
Breakfast will be sausage and grits casserole, fruit, and pastries from our local bakery.
Lunch and supper is what I'm still trying to decide.
For lunch, I'm thinking about putting some heavy(ish) snacks out for people to graze. Some ideas I've had are small ham and cheese sandwiches from the bakery (that are really good), cheese/crackers, fruit, sausage balls.
Supper will likely be chili in the crockpot.
The only thing about my lunch plans is that I'm afraid to leave all of that just sitting out. May be I'll just pull it out when we get hungry.

I just barely got through planning Christmas Eve - that's when my whole family comes over. I make a chorizo breakfast bake (tweaked from a recipe Becky posted years ago) the night before and put it in the fridge. Then bake in the morning. My Mom may be making ham so we'll probably go to her new place.

Christmas Eve is at SILs house... Lunch time appetizers. I'm bringing crab Rangoon dip, spicy oyster crackers and gingerbread dips We are opening gifts before we go so I will probably throw a can of cinnamon rolls in when we get up. Dinner that night will probably be something we grab on the way to my moms where we are spending the night.
Christmas Day... Breakfast is donuts from our favorite bakery at home, sausage strata and crockpot hot cocoa. Lunch is smoked turkey for sandwiches and lots of side dishes. We are bringing deviled eggs, bean dip, two types of cookies and fudge. We have a vegetarian gluten free girlie so we are trying to make many options. Dinner will probably just be more snacks before we come home.
We also are having two celebrations the following Saturday. The first is snack food, the second is soup and salads. The first I have no idea what I'm bringing but the second one will be lentil soup (two veggie gals that day) and banana pudding.

Christmas Eve is whatever I can throw together before having to leave for church.
Christmas breakfast always used to be my overnight cinnamon rolls but since DD can't have them this year, probably just going pancakes.
Lunch will be: turkey, glazed carrots, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce (DH likes my homemade stuff), and pumpkin gingerbread.
Dinner will be leftovers.

Not sure what we are doing either day. My parents both have to work night shift on Christmas Eve so we are trying to figure out the easiest ways to do holidays with them now.

Christmas Eve - TACOS! Ok sounds weird but tacos have always been a special occassion thing in my family. We make them with shredded flanksteak - not ground beef. YUM! Christmas Eve is really our main family meal. Christmas Day will include: - Quiche (DH's family tradition) - homemade cinnamon rolls nothing special planned for Christmas Day dinner - will probably be leftovers of whatever is around.

Christmas Eve: Ham Sweet Potato Casserole Green Beans Rolls
Christmas Day Breakfast: Cinnamon Rolls Egg Nog
Christmas Day (I do different appetizers all day long instead of meals): Shrimp Cocktail Fresh fruit w/ dip Spinach/Artichoke Dip Cranberry-Pepper Jelly Dip Veggie Pizza Mini pizzas Pigs in a blanket (made w/ Little Smokies) Cocktail Meatballs
Now that I type that out, it sounds like an awful lot of food for Christmas Day especially since it will just be us (2 adults/3 kids). I may skip making a couple things listed unless we are really hungry. LOL!

Christmas Eve: No idea. I have to be at work at 5:30 a.m. that day and work till noon. I'm planning to nap after I get home. I'll be exhausted. There are tons of party tray orders and fried chicken orders going out that day. It'll have to be something quick and easy for supper because we're going to my Mom's church for Christmas Eve service around 7.
Christmas Day breakfast: biscuits or pancakes or possibly cranberry-orange nut bread if I get it made, goetta, eggs, hash browns
Christmas lunch: sandwiches or whatever
Christmas dinner: ham, baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, squash, salad, rolls, and Christmas cookies for dessert. Since we have a ton of cookies I expect we'll be nibbling on those all day.
