I am excited.......i wanted to loose 1 lb a week, for 10 weeks.....(prior to birthday). And I did it yea. I started out exercising quite a bit, and had goals there, but got sick w/ bronchitis, so exercise has gone out the window. But eating less, has done the trick. The nov/dec goal is to just maintain and not gain over the holidays.

Update. Have maintained a steady weight. Haven't exercised in over a month now.....first the cough that turned into bronchitis, and now it is allergies. Just being able to breath is a major accomplishment. but trying to eat very light, i have maintained.
I have been doing light arm exercises w/ wtgs.....looking forward to getting back on exercise bike and peddling out some miles.

Lucy, that's wonderful! Not only did you set goals, you accomplished them and then maintained...we all know how hard that is! Keep up the great work, you'll be so glad you did!

Back on the wagon again.......I have lost (very small amounts)...weight every month for 22 months now....and was so good during Dec....not gaining.
Then after christmas? ? ? left overs...cold weather....weight GAIN coming back fast.
So I am back to the beginning...measuring food, attempting to walk a 1 mile dvd 3x a day (morning, noon, evening) and get back on the exercise bike.
I think a few days of NOT SNACKING and INHALING all food in my house, I will be back at my low.....but have a goal to loose 10 lbs by summer ( 2 lbs a month). That should be doable....right ?

Good for you! YOU CAN DO IT! ( you've done it before! ANd now with all the Thanksgiving/Christmas treats gone, it , hopefully will be easier!) I am in need of losing some pounds! Willpower is my issue! (But I am trying, and menopause hormones are squashing my effort!!)

That goal is doable. I have a much higher goal for only a slightly longer time period so you should be fine (not that I'm going to definitely meet mine but..)
