It's been a struggle for my sons since they hit mid-teens. There really wasn't anything exciting that they wanted that was in our price-range. Cash or gift cards is against DH's desire. Kids are now 24, 21 and 21. Boys (24 & 21) still a struggle. DH hates to give practical gifts but as young men--one working, one in school--practical is, well, practical. DD provides a list of many things that she would like - she is easy.

I've had a tough time this season with my 10 & 12 year old girls. i finally got them books (for their 3rd gift). They are getting Lego Sets & sweatshirts with their names and soccer balls on them. We just didn't have the money (because we used money instead of debt)to spend much this year and I'm feeling like it'll be a dud.

We haven't done any shopping not for lack of ideas but a lack of money. Plus we don't just want to get them suff, we want it to thoughtful I guess would be the word. I'm just struggling to find the Christmas spirit.

I'm doing a baking box for dd (with ingredients along with other items), a pair of heely stakes/trainers and a coat. Ds has happyland stuff.

My older two were easy, but $$$. They each are only getting one gift this year, but that's b/c that one gift is expensive.
We finally ordered something yesterday for our youngest. Will need to get him another thing or two still.
Hoping to finish soon.
Still need to get the christmas-eve pjs. Still need to get a gift for my son's girlfriend. (From us, he's already picked out his gift for her.) Still need to get a gift for son's girlfriend's parents/family. Still need to get a gift for my husband. Still need to get a gift for my brother's children who will be here after Christmas. Still need to finish my gift's for the neighbors. I bought part of it, but want to get something else to go with it. Still need to take my youngest to get his last gift.
Still need to wrap everything. :giggle:

I have too much for my crew. I'm not sure how it happened... disorganization and overwhelmedness, I guess. I am setting some things aside for future gifts.

I'm struggling as well. I just don't have the Christmas spirit. I've been feeling really overwhelmed lately. Dh is going to take me out today to get some shopping done. What I'm buying? I've no clue.
