Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was a quiet but lovely day at our friend's place in Bethesda. The 11 yo girl I'm caring for made me an omelet for breakfast, got to sleep in a bit, DH walked her to school, and we went out for dinner after the girl's dad returned from London last night. A good day.
