Nice to see so many "old" friends here.
I'm Ju and I'm mum to two amazing and beautiful children, dd (k) - now 11yo and ds (j) - who turns 2yo in a couple of weeks. I live in the UK.
Life's somewhat different to when I initially joined hearts in 2004 (when I just had a 1yo dd) and was a primary school teacher in Yorkshire: we live in the midlands with my parents and two canine companions. My Mum is our vicar and our church runs a Charity which aims to help improve lives of people locally.
I work three days a week for this charity, teaching Esol to several groups of (mainly) Muslim ladies. It's actually more exciting than that in that our charity is one of the three hubs overseeing other centres delivering this course. I've been working closely with several other organisations, including British council and bbc learn English!
My ds attends the day nursery here too (no special treatment mind!) while dd is in year 7 (the first one) at Secondary School.

Absolutely! I don't feel any older. Wonder if it's having a small person again?

Hi Ju! Glad you decided to join us!
I can't believe your little guy will be 2! Of course, I knew your DD was 11 because she's a couple of months older than my DS. I was 40 when he was born. I definitely agree that rearing a small child later in life helps keep you young.

I was 39 when j was born. He has bought so much joy to our family.
(I think I'll finish this when my son isn't emptying his sister's room of her sweets, which are from her friends)
