I wanted to share my progress with you all because I am excited about it Over the last couple years, I had put on about 20 lbs which is at a weight I had not previously reached until I was about 6-7 months pregnant! I had been feeling really down about it and finally decided to get serious and try to do something about it. I was still well within the range for a normal BMI, but my "happy weight" is at the very low end of the healthy BMI. Starting May 20th I decided to start tracking my food and exercise on My Fitness Pal and have lost 11 lbs so far!!!! My goal is to hit at least 10K steps a day, and stick with the calories allowed on MFP...I start the day with 1200 allowed calories and then get extra calories the more active I am. I'm not following an eating plan. I eat what I want, but in moderation. I knew I would never be able to stick to a low carb, no sugar, low fat type of plan. I have treats every day, but make sure I'm getting lots of fresh fruits and veggies. I'm never hungry so I'm definitely not starving! I do allow myself at least one, sometimes two, days a week where I don't track my calories and eat what I want without going ridiculously overboard. I do still try to get all my steps in those days though. I do need to focus some more exercises on my midsection though and get that in better shape! It seems to be the last place where the weight is going to come off!!

Great job!
I'm in a similar place. I am within a healthy, normal weight - but I would like to be on the lower end of that too. I know I could get that down if I work on it.
If you come up with a good mid-section work, let me know - that's where I need the most work too.

I don't know if this will work, but I'm planning on starting the 5 minute an workout this week: heidipowell.net/4208/core-strengthening-exercises/I will let you know how it goes....or would be happy to have an accountability partner if you want to do it with me ?
