I was over on the other board but was a reader, not a poster. So with the change, I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself.
I am blessed to be a single foster momma. My first babies came to me when they were 15 months and 2 years. I was able to have them for 8 months before they returned to their family. Hardest day of my life was saying goodbye to them but I know, without a doubt, that I am called to be home and family for these little ones during the time they have to be away from their family. As a bonus, they get the love of my entire extended family and know the love of Jesus!
Right now I have the most precious 3 month old baby boy who came to me at birth. I am loving getting to be a part of all of his "firsts".
In addition, I am also a Kindergarten teacher. I'd love to be able to be home with the baby but, unfortunately, that doesn't pay the mortgage. So I make the most of our time together in the early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
