Since I have breastfed six kids, I have a little, erm, "nerve damage" to my nipples. Today I went for my mammogram, and they always put those stickers right on the nipples, then you have to peel them off at the end. Yeee-ouch! I hate that!
Oh, and I also went in for blood work and nearly passed out. (LOL) I had three attendants worried. They brought me water, ice packs for the back of my neck, etc. I don't know what came over me. It's not like I've never had blood taken before. Sheesh. I'm such a wimp.
But whatevs. It's done now. Now my primary care doctor can get off my case. (LOL)

Was it a fasting blood test?

Sounds like an exciting morning! I've never had stickers on my nipples with a mammogram. Interesting how there are different practices.

Yes, it was a fasting blood test, so maybe that's why I was whoozy. (although, I've done those before and never had a problem. Maybe I'm just getting too old. LOL)

Y'all don't have to put those pretty pink flowery stickers with metal knobbies on your dit-ums?
I'm suddenly feeling resentful. (LOL)

Nope. No Dit-ums. I'm a little jealous now that you get flower stickers. My boobies are feeling very plain.

Nearly passed out from losing the blood? Or from the act of the blood being drawn? Hope you're feeling better now. They take so many vials of blood for those annual tests. No stickers here either. Now, don't make your doctor beg next year! (Says the girl who was over six months late going in when she finally got herself in there a couple of weeks ago. ).

I have no idea! The stickers cover your nipple, and it has a metal tip on the end. I think that helps to identify the nipple in the mammography???
