You know, when you have more than one website open at a time and you have multiple tabs open... do you have to the tabs in a certain order? Any of them? None of them? Some of them?
I *ALWAYS* have my email open as my first tab. It might almost be a compulsive behavior, I don't know! ha ha Then it's usually here (kindred hearts), and then my fitbit dashboard. All the other tabs can be in random orders.. but those 3 are pretty exclusively placed in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
How about you?

My Yahoo mail, AOL mail, my online banking, KindredHearts, Facebook in that order on my tool bar… No particular reason they are in that order…. but those 5 sites are my daily go-to's
In my "favorite" windows are those, plus My Fitness Pal , Weather Channel, my sons' high school parent portal...

(I'm going crazy with the colors today. )
I don't really keep a lot of them up. Most of them, I just bring up again when I use them (including email and Kindred Hearts).
I think that I must feel like it's cluttered or something, so I don't keep too many of them open. There are a couple that I have to keep open, but that's it.
Right now, I have a ton of writing ones open, and it's driving me crazy.
I use my bookmarks a lot though. Normally though, I just type the first letter into the little bar, and it brings up the one that I want, so I don't really have to do much besides type one letter when I want to switch things.

I have several "pinned tabs" in my firefox-- sparkpeople, pandora radio, and goodreads pretty much always, plus some other stuff like if there's a recipe I'm planning to try soon I'll put it there so it's still open but out of the way. In my regular tabs I usually have gmail, then facebook, then hearts, then pinterest, and then a bunch of other random stuff. Right now there's a couple tabs open from links off facebook that are between fb and here.

Fitbit dashboard, Kindred Hearts & Facebook in that order. I close everything but Fitbit if I go to another site.

I pay no attention to the order of my tabs. Facebook is ALWAYS open. Other tabs end up in whatever order they like.

The icons and names of the tabs are right there! It SAYS what each tab is. I always forget and close stuff anyway and end up reopening. I'm famous for hitting the wrong X at the wrong time!

I tend to do my tour of sites on my mobile phone (groovy chick here). And yes, my tabs tend to be in an order. I have a few tabs of things that when I have some time, I need a look at. Email is opened from a different app, as is fb.
When at work, I tend to have the esol website tab opened first, then work's fb, Google, then any other useful website/link (as I never keep things easy and use the given when I can create my own!). As I will be developing the websites and social media, so the first tab will be the different social medias we use/want to use (research process and training)

FB first then my blog's backdoor then usually Pinterest (part of blogging) then usually here. E-mail is open all day but I use Windows Mail for that so open in a different program.

I never open my computer... So no. Lol. Everything I do is on my phone or tablet. I don't ever open up my computer anymore, either. I don't know how everyone is able to use phones for most stuff though. I think that the size of a phone screen would inhibit me from doing much. (I'm not a big techy-phone girl though.)
My tablet runs on windows though, so I can have the tabs/windows open.
One thing that I just figured out though, is that when I have a bunch open, there is a little arrow at the end of the bar that will show me all of them and I can go from one to another that way w/o having to press the back arrow over and over to get back to the front of the list. Maybe I won't lose my mind before I finish with all of these tabs that I have open right now.
