This is so hard. Mom doesn't seem to know we're there much of the time. She's sleeping a lot. I miss her. We all do. We've all cried a lot. I had some time alone with her this evening. I read Psalms 1, 4, 34 and Romans 8 to her. I sang to her, told her what a wonderful mother she is and that it's okay for her to go see Dad. I sobbed while I was in the room. I looked over and Mom had her hand up like she wanted me to hold her hand again. When I held her hand she squeezed a little bit and stroked my hand. I wonder if she wanted to comfort me.
That's so like her.

Oh, Linda. My heart hurts so much for you right now! This must be so incredibly hard for you. I pray God will give you strength through this tough season. I know that you've been such a blessing to your mother. Soak up every moment of it. I'm sure she knows you love her intensely. Just love each other during these last moments. (((Linda)))

Oh I'm so sorry, Linda. Thank you so much for taking the time to update us, so we know better how to pray. I love that you read and sang to her. You are a wonderful, loving daughter. I gave my mom similar reassurances at the end of her life too, about letting go ... it's all so very difficult, isn't it? Hugs and prayers, Linda.  |

I know this must be breaking your heart. I am so sorry- it is never easy to see a parent seriously ill. I will continue to pray for you and yours. I love you ,my friend.
