The other day I was cleaning my purse, and pulled out my make up bag, just a few items, not the full make up bag that I keep in the bathroom.
My husband laughed and said " You don't even wear makeup anymore".
Resisting the urge to snap back, I just laughed ( because that particular day, I was cleaning the house and doing yardwork, and I didn't have any makeup on), but I was thinking hmmm, do I need more make up??? ( I wear a light foundation, pressed powder, eye shadow, liner and mascara, and lipstick... not a ton, but without it I look like I have the flu) Or do I say " Thanks so much... I must do a perfect "natural look".
I did mention it the next day. He back- pedaled a little and said I look fine, it's just such a natural look it's hardly noticeable. ( I guess that is good. But I was kind of offended...I don't want him to think I put NO effort into looking decent, but really???)
