Has anyone used the online ordering/pickup feature for groceries at Walmart? I'm thinking this might be a lifesaver for me after the baby is born. I'm just wondering how well it works for those that have used it.

I have not ( ours is not a Super Walmart ) and I have not personally tried grocery store delivery… But I know people who do and love it! ( some stores more than others.) I have a friend who uses a grocery store delivery service and she finds it so time ( and sanity ) saving . The produce is super fresh and you can specify what cuts of meat you want! Things seem to be packed carefully . I would bet it would be a huge life saver with a newborn and a big family. Wonder if they have a special price to try it for the first time? Sometimes they lower or waive the delivery fee for the first time. Just looked at some online reviews for WalMart delivery and they were positive. Here's a link to someone's blog, too... activeparents.ca/my-experience-with-walmart-grocery-pickup/

Delivery isn't an option here because we live out in the country, but Walmart and another grocery store offers free pickup if you order online. I know Walmart has a $10 off code for the first order.

Ilove jet.com. They have free fedex delivery everywhere. I like Jet.com as well, but I'm looking for an easier way to get my everyday groceries....something that doesn't involve me shopping with 4 kids including a newborn or sending dh to the grocery store. He's capable of getting things here or there, but it would not turn out very well if I sent him with a huge list for a week's worth of groceries.

oh,i know what you mean. I was thinking you could do your grocery shopping online at jet.com and have fedex bring it right to your door every week...that is what i do.

I haven't used Walmart pickup BUT I have used grocery delivery services and other order and pick-up services. The time and frustrations savings is SO worth it. Do it!

MOmom, how are you feeling??? Not too much longer? May, right?? 2 weeks until my due date so really could be any day or 4 weeks from now. LOL! I'm still feeling pretty good most of the time. My back aches at the end of the day and I have a hard time sleeping, but overall I really can't complain.

You may have updated, but I can't remember. Hope it will give you no problems!!

OB office said today that the hospital has agreed to take my new insurance even though they don't officially accept it. I will confirm with the hospital if I don't have the baby in the next week or so though.
