Got a snow day today ( I was off anyway, so it ruined my plans!) Now we are into the next week in June, moving Graduation day again. now, we are to get MORE snow Tuesday into Wednesday…. Grrr… I am over snow. I want spring! I want to get out of school early…. OK… all done complaining….  |

It was SO cold here in MN today! We have a storm watch starting Sunday afternoon as well. It's been a weird weather year.

We had a pleasantly warm and sunny day today. BUT - and its a BIG BUT...
The valley/road/houses along that road below us are badly flooded at this moment. There was some flooding off to the sides earlier today but not crazy. I went to work just before 3 this afternoon and it wasn't bad. But about 4 DH and DS said they could literally see the water rising. I drove home over flooded roads - I think they are closing the road but cars were still on it as they/we headed home. I'm glad we live up on a hill - well away from problems. But it may or may not be an issue getting to work in the morning - I HAVE to get onto the road that is currently flooded in order to get anywhere. The other tech at my work is working on a back up plan in case I can't get out. Its a mess down the hill right now!
Love my DS 's heart though - he says he's going to pray for everyone down there to be safe. He knows where to go when people need help.

It didn't get as warm today as it was supposed to either - good for slower melting snow higher up the creeks! I got to work and back fine (although my coworker had to detour around several closed roads on her end.) Going in this evening should be fine too.

Every 12 hours, the forecast gets worse…. We started with 5-8", then 10-12", then 12-16"…. It's getting ridiculous! Come on SUMMER!  |

I would LOVE a snow day tomorrow! Come on over. They cancelled today at 5pm. I am hoping we get another on Wed. Make it worth going into the next week of June. ( For more than a half day on Mon) |

I will be content with my 2 inches we got on Sunday. I MISS big snowstorms but I don't miss the havoc they cause.
