We have 1 real tree we cut down on Thanksgiving weekend. It is in the living room ( colored lights) DD has an artificial tree in her room with white lights and silver, gold and crystal ornaments) DS's have a tiny artificial tree in their bedroom, white lights and some skateboard memorabilia on it. A red bandana is tied to the top We have a tiny tree with white lights near the front door, and a little pinecone tree with colored lights in our bedroom. We usually decorate the trees outside but that has not yet been done. Maybe this week???

I love real, but with a kid who is allergic to mold, we have done artificial for a long time. I like either colored or white lights. Our current tree has colored. I used to decorated outside, but haven't had time in quite a few years.

I'm allergic to the real ones so we have artificial. Our tree is prelit with colored lights. I don't really have a strong preference, but the kids like RAINBOW LIGHTS!, so that's what we have. Outside, we have lights on the palm tree on the corner of the yard and lights on the bushes in front of the house (plus a light-up flamingo who goes near the palm tree). The palm tree lights are colored. The lights on the bushes are white and gold for Georgia Tech (DH's and my alma mater).

Artificial tree with colored lights. This will only be our second or third year using the colored lights. I always used white before, but the kids want color so we changed Dh usually puts lights up along the roof line of our house, but we don't do any other outside lights.

Artificial (i would love to have a real one sometime)
lights....all colors. (last yr I used big bulbs, didn't have enough, used little bulbs, needed more, used weird ones.....it looked very nice having such a random mixture on the tree)
I will try to get ds to string lights on our 1 evergreen tree.

WAIT! I just remembered we bought new, low-energy lights last year! They are white, not colored.

Artificial tree - I would also love a real one but DH's allergies will handle artificial better.
We have a big tree in the living room (bigger than I would like but its what got handed down to us - its really nice, just big!) It has colored lights on it - the kids wouldn't have it any other way.
We also have a small, quite old artificial tree in the playroom. It was in my room in high school and I took it with me when I moved to a small house (single wide 70s mobile home) in college. Now my kids use it! It has white lights because they are attached to the tree that way. I also hung a colored strand of lights around the playroom window and ran the final part of the string around the tree.
We could decorate our new little dogwood tree outside, but its pretty small - oh and a shrubby bush that has no leaves on it in the winter - but I don't do them. I ran colored lights around the eves of the house. Last year I also started running lights to outline the frame of our swingset.

We switch back and forth between real & artificial kind of depending on what life looks like around Christmas time. This year we are so busy it'll probably be artificial. White lights. We put lights up on the house but don't really have any trees to decorate outside.

We have been buying our trees at Costco the last several years, and they've all been great trees. But, (there's always a "but," isn't there? ) this year we unbound the twine stuff and the bottom quarter of the tree fell off. haha. We live almost an hour away from Costco, but we had to take it back. We have white, blue and purple lights on ours this year. We do minimal decorating outside. Just on the rooftop, across the front length of the house. Colored lights. We've done the porch a little some years, but I don't know if we do that this year or not.

Real tree... blue spruce. Lights depend on the year. This year they are white and gold.

We have two small artificial trees, one with white lights and one with colored lights. The tree in the front yard has colored lights on it. Getting a live tree for the living room this weekend and will put white lights on it.
