Hi everyone!
So short version of the story, my blood pressure is higher than usual. Dr wants to to keep an eye on it for now and have me increase my water, exercise (strength and cardio) and follow the dash diet until February and then have it rechecked So I am asking for accountability and encouragement. Breaking it into baby steps to keep me from getting discouraged too quickly. So Initial steps for a week 1. At least 3 cups of water a day. 2. 5 minutes of cardio 3 times this week. 3. 5 minutes of strength building 3 times this week 4. Eliminate prepackaged foods from my diet at least three meals this week. If too easy, I will make it harder

Down 1.4 lbs! Thanks for asking!
Had a total cheat evening but I did it knowingly and I have a plan for next time. Going to reevaluate my goals in the next few days because I met some already! Will update here when I can

So I met one goal-eliminate prepackaged dinner at least 3 times-now trying to eliminate lunchmeat b/c of sodium

Thx. Also trying to cut back on after dinner snacking... I find this the hard one for me. I enjoy relaxing with food after the kids go to bed. I don't need the snack, I just want it - especially chocolate. I try to just to a cup of cocoa if I really want chocolate to relax with. Its better than alternatives.
