I saw a post on pinterest about, if you like this, then read this...'
so I checked out 4 books from the library.
Listened to Mr. Penumbra's 24 hour book store....it was very different from what I am used to...but interesting all the same. It tried to intermix the very old (first printing and binding of books, with the folks who only do books...and mix it with the google / computer crowd)...throw in secret code, private groups, underground rooms, international codes,......intresting.

I read Mr. Penumbra last year and really enjoyed it.
Usually I read like six books at a time, but I've just finished a bunch. So right now I'm reading a book about the history of the English language called Adventures in English, a book of daily readings about hymn histories called Near to the Heart of God, and Don Quixote on audio.

Got 2 books from the library today. Tonight I'll be starting either The Rainbow Comes and Goes by Anderson Cooper or When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. I think I'll start the 2nd.

I've been rereading the needlecraft mysteries by Monica Ferris. I only have a couple left, I think.
Pretty sure that's going to wrap up my "comfy fiction" binge. For me, reading a lot of fiction is an indicator that I'm feeling overly stressed and not handling it well, but I'm feeling better at this point, so once I finish these mysteries I'm looking forward to something a bit meatier.

I finished a couple of the ones I was reading.
The ones I'm still reading are:
A Prisoner and Yet Circle Maker Present Over Perfect Uninvited Bandersnatch
I don't have my book bag near me, so I can't remember what else. I think there's another one or two.

I just started the pile of stuff at the bottom of the stairs. It was a book on a special display at the library of books that had not been checked out and they covered th cover up so it was like a blind date. So far so good. Also running on red dog road. Non fiction and really good

I'm reading the latest series by Karen Kingsbury. It's called Angels Walking. I've read the first 2 books in the series and am part way through the 3rd. Karen Kingsbury is always an easy read. Good, uplifting. When I need to get away a little bit.

Loved Northern Lights....have read it several times.
I started a new book.....The Wrong Stuff......an autobiography of a guy who lied about his age to join WW2, he was a year too young....and ended up flying bombing raids over Germany......he uses some cursing....and I have it on audio...and the narrator has a horrible voice, but I am going to try and stay with it.
The college snowflake teenagers of this generation have no real clue what generations of men and women have done at the same age they are....while they cry and protest about not having safe places.

That sounds really interesting. I'm going to put it on my list! I am currently listening to The friends we keep. I am reading 2k to 10k (a writing book which is VERY good). I just finished a graphic novel and I'm getting ready to start Quarantined!
