It's been quite a while since I posted on here. I have continued to live a healthy lifestyle the very best I can. I've been through a breast cancer scare but despite benign biopsy results, I still had surgery to remove a tumor. It has put a bit of a damper on my training and my half-marathon per month goal, but hey...I'm so thankful! Here are a couple links to those blog-posts in case you are interested. It all started with a mammogram: bit.ly/1QSuKAhI continued to do my best: bit.ly/1R5unm0I did my best to shove worry out of my head: bit.ly/1nKcyeCI continued to let go and let God: bit.ly/1TnxV2FAfter postponing surgery and literally running away to complete a couple half marathons instead of surgery, I rescheduled and really wanted to reschedule again indefinitely, I finally went through with it: bit.ly/1WH64NsAlthough I've been through an insane amount of mammograms this year, I wouldn't change a thing. Because things were caught relatively early, I'm incredibly blessed with results. I share these stories in hopes you will be reminded of the importance of routine mammograms. If you are overdue for yours, make an appointment and get in there, Friends!
