DD3 and DS having already done a batch of spritz cookies.
DS and I are going to make chocolate chip cookies. These are DH's request. I usually don't think those count as CHristmas cookies, but since he specifically asked for them that's we'll do.
I'm going to make spumoni cookies.
Tomorrow DD2 is coming home for the day and to spend the night (she moved out 12 days ago, not that I'm counting or anything). We'll probably do sugar cookie cut-outs and Russian tea cakes (or Mexican wedding cakes as some people call them), and possibly snickerdoodles.

Not today (so busy today!!) but I did bring home my moms "famous" Christmas cookies (which she buys from gfs.)

DH would be so happy at your house. Every year (except this year) we make 5-6 kinds of Christmas cookies and ALL he wants is chocolate chip! No baking this year since I'm out of town. Well, actually my 11 yo charge and I made sugar cookies out of premade dough with cutters I got at the dollar store.

sounds like your place is going to be a yummy place to be!!!  I have a bunch of bananas that need to be used up so I'll likely make banana cinnamon swirl cake tomorrow. |

I haven't baked anything christmas'y at all this year.
I can't believe that it's so close. I feel like I haven't done much at all.
Hopefully, once school ends for the year, I'll be able to get my head into Christmas more.
I have to bake oatmeal raisin cookies today though b/c my son is supposed to take them to his english co-op on Mon.
With church and a Christmas party tomorrow, I'm thinking I'd better get them done today.

I am not baking cookies today ---(tho i have made dz and dz so far this season...all gone by the way)
but i did try making soap for the first time. a simple, melt shea butter, add some ingredients, and let harden again.
i followed the recipe - and the picture on pinterest was lovely.......mine look much darker....not sure if people want to wash with soap that resembles a mud pie.
oh well.....

My tree is standing here in the family room with just lights on it and it is a pre-lit tree! lol I seriously have NOTHING done for Christmas and I'm getting a wee bit panicky about it!  The goal for today is ginger cookies, hay stacks and peanut butter de-lite. Tomorrow is sausage balls. |

Not today but yesterday. Baked bread - small loaves to give as gifts. Blueberry muffins - just because... Kids decorated Christmas cookies and I baked them. DS has done it before but it was DD's first time. |

The two batches of cookies we did on Friday were mostly given away. The ones that stayed here are already gone. The cookie monster lives here. |
