Good Morning! It's snowing here! Thanks to my Aunt's neighbor, I don't have to leave for the whole day ( she has 2 doctors appointments today, and he will take her… He is a saint) Hoping that her sidewalk and stairs are Ok for her to go out.. She uses a walker.Snowing there also.. Going to catch up on the usual bed making, bathroom cleaning, etc. Then put some boxes downstairs so I can VACUUM ( I have been holding off until the decorating in the living room was done…and it is.) Have an appointment with Dh at the bank later this afternoon. Boys have wrestling practice tonight. Making chicken drumsticks for dinner. What's on your agenda?

Re-arranging our living room so we can get our tree tonight. With all of us being sick we're pretty late on getting one this year. I need to baby proof again. I watch my niece (for almost a year now) who has just started walking. Game changer now! I haven't had a walking baby in this house in a lot of years! Leftovers for dinner! yay! No snow here. Supposed to get into the 50's in the next few days. ( I want snow!)

I want snow too! It's in the 20s here this morning, but of course, the sky is blue as can be. I've got a lot of stuff that I neeeed to finish up today. Or at least get it almost done to where I can finish it tomorrow. Writing stuff. I've got one thing that I want to finish writing today. Then, I've got to get my new site up...seriously, it's taking too long. I've got three things that I've moved over that are pending, but I haven't 'published' them. Waiting until I can figure out what else I need to move over so that the newer stuff won't be behind the older stuff. Have I mentioned that I'm sick of this? :giggle: I'm not planning to move a whole lot over from the other blog. I'm not really wanting it to be a blog in the normal sense of a blog. But, I'm ready to be done with this. Also, I'm trying to get through the science book, and the first volume of the history book w/ my 7th grader before our Christmas break. (In addition to regular school stuff.) I want to try to work on the rest of the Christmas decorating if I have time. I might get a little done, but I'm not too hopeful about that. And, of course, regular house stuff. And exercise. That's about it, I think. I'd hoped to have an early supper b/c I thought that I was going to have everyone here, but I think that my oldest has to work. I thought that he didn't have to go in until 5:00ish. I can't keep track of everyone's comings and goings anymore. Happy Thursday

Today's plan WAS to clean up the apartment we are staying in, do laundry, vacuum the floor with a dustbuster (what was HE thinking). However, the alarm company decided it would be delightful to test the alarm systems this week. Our apt is full blown siren. We had to abandon ship. Currently at the local library hanging out. What will we do next? No clue.

School, chores, and then supper and the normal evening routine. Girls have piano later too. Tonight Dh and I are going to try out our new hot tub! Dh has been wanting one for years and we finally were able to make it happen.

Bills .... Bills .... and more bills.
Getting things paid.
Haven't even started my Christmas shopping. I have some things that I bought the kids months ago that I need to dig out, but otherwise .... nope .... gift shopping has not been on my radar.
Dh is taking tomorrow off. Maybe we can do some shopping.
Oh .... tonight I have a party for my quilt guild. I was nominated to become President, but with the passing of my mother, I am declining. I do not want to take on any new responsibilities in the new year, for at least one year.

Well, boo. I'm just now finishing up the article that I've spent about 10 days writing. (Still in draft mode, but at least there are no blanks and holes in it anymore.) Well, I have to cut 146 words from it. Wah. (Which I'm sure I can do, I'm sure that there are some superfluous parts in there, but....ugh, I don't wanna. I want to be done.) No blog stuff done. No Christmas cards done. (Which I forgot to even mention in the earlier post.) Lots of school stuff done. So, there's that. No shower yet. I'm clean, but, still, I want a shower. No supper started yet. Gonna shower and start supper now. (And stop complaining, .)

Just finish another crazy day in a crazy week! This week is a doozy! Passing this kidney stone is at the top of the list but that doesn't seem to be happening.

(can we say old and techno challenged) You're probably in good company...I think that we've probably all had to search for all of the different functions on the new board. When you are on the forum page (the one on each board where all of the threads are listed), there's a "Create Thread" icon in the upper right corner. Hope that helps.
